This is a great little gadget with such big functions. I would recommend this to anyone who cares about taking care of themselves and their families in times of emergency type situations. The alarm is very loud, the radio works great and the light and compass...well, you never know when you may need them. Small enough to pack and the hand crank makes it a life saver if your batteries become a no/go. I'm telling all of my friends about this little guy.
