Overall this is a great player but for those of you who like to sleep in a dark bedroom the clock/lcd light can be bright. It does allow you to adjust the brightness about 5 levels but even the lowest brightness is bright for me. One of the previous models was much dimmer so I know they can do it.
I really wish it had battery power since it is not very mobile with having to deal with the power cable.
If you don't need portability and don't care about the brightness of the LCD you will probably be happy with this player.
