JWIN ELECTRONICS JX-M10 AM/FM Pocket Radio Review

I couldn't find a Sony Walkman so I tried one of these. The appearance of this piece of junk is deceiving. It has a digital display however tuning the tuning knob is very crude, sticky and analog.

FM tuning bands are very broad and overlap allowing for considerable interference. AM sensitivity is very poor compared to my Sony Walkman headphone AM/FM radio and compared to the lost Sony Walkman pocket radio I hoped to replace. Ironically a wire antenna that plugs into the earphone socket is included but does ZERO for the AM band.

There are separate power on and power off buttons; dumb. An additional annoyance the power on button defaults to the AM band.

The most useless feature is the built in alarm clock. I can only imagine this piece of feature-itis was added to make up for the deficiency of this product in the area of its intended purpose.

jWin JL-CD811 CD Clock Radio Review

I bought this as a gift for my nine year old daughter.It has been a great purchase.After showing my daughter how to operate the different functions, she has been an independent user.This alarm clock allows my daughter to listen to music on the radio or CD player.She can choose to wake up to music,radio, or buzzer.The size is a plus; it has replaced her oversized radio/multi CD player,which was too bulky and had too many functions.The large #s are easy to read and can be dimmed w/dimmer button.The blue # color is a winner;it is different from the usual red or orange and is her favorite color.The sound quality is great for the product.

Pll Digital Tuning Am/fm Pocket Radio and Alarm Clock with Built-in Hi-fi Speakers Review

This is a good item if you are just interested in listing to the radio(talk shows ,baseball game and music). Channels are grounded and precise. The speaker sound is very clear, with adjustable sound volume. No need to use the headphones unless you want privacy.
Far superior to the JWIN JX-M3; I have both.
I'm just not sure what X is for in X-BBS, or the D is for in D-BBS or what the difference is between the JWIN JXM20ORG and this JWIN radio. They look exactly the same, but have a big price difference.

I bought two of these [Blue/Black/Silver version] because I wanted my daughters (ages 10 & 11) to be able to listen to radio without having to be "plugged-in" with headphones all the time. (I hate seeing people plugged-into iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, etc.) The radio has a neck strap, so my daughters can be a little fashionable wearing an electronic device as an accessory.

For a 1-inch speaker, the sound is pretty good. If you do happen to plug-in a set of headphones, the sound is excellent and in stereo.

We have had excellent durability with the radios. The two AAA batteries last quite a while. The clock and alarm work well, as does the digital tuning. Cool little radios for not much money!

OTHER OPTIONS: The analog-tuned Sony ICF-S10MK2 Pocket AM/FM Radio (approx. $10); or the larger and better sounding Sony ICF38 Portable AM/FM Radio (approx. $20) that runs on a built-in power cord (or batteries).
